Right now… I’m listening to rough mixes of Sarah’s recorded vocals on my two compositions (“Miss” & “Kahit Na”).
I got a CD copy earlier today and I was really excited to listen to it even if I knew it was still very rough.
I must say… it’s sounding pretty good… considering that the ones I have right now still lacks backup vocals, mixing and mastering…! Sarah did a wonderful job on the vocals and filled the compositions with so much emotion. She did justice to the musical works!
Sorry, friends… as much as I would like to give everyone a taste of how the song is slowly and wonderfully turning out, I am constrained not to. You know how piracy is… and I wouldn’t want to get all “anti-climactic” on you guys! Besides, the album will be coming out pretty soon already… practically a month from now!
So, I guess everyone will have to settle for my blow by blow accounts and a little nail-biting till the go-signal’s given for release.

As I was handed the CD, I was instructed by Viva not to let anyone listen to the songs yet… they’re pretty cautious about these things, especially after the entire recording business has been hugely affected by piracy… and also since these tracks are just demos yet.

Thanks for dropping by my blog. Yeah… I found out through Ate Guia (Ferrer) that you were the one who did the musical arrangements for my compositions. I was actually able to hear your arrangements for both songs (Kahit Na & Miss) with Sarah’s vocals (no backups yet when I listened to it… and very raw mix). I really enjoyed listening to your arrangements…! Indeed, Sarah worked on the vocals wonderfully. Before I heard them, I was really anxious to know how it would all come together… and boy was I finally relieved to know that the musical arrangements were left in such competent and very able hands.
Congratulations to you too for the wonderful arrangements. Can’t wait for the final mix.
By the way, thank you for the compliments on the compositions… nice to know you liked the songs.
