Many believed “American Idol” (season 5) contestant, Chris Daughtry, should’ve won that talent search last year but was eliminated just a few episodes before the finals. In any event, he has come out with his own album entitled, Daughtry, that skyrocketed to number 3 on the Billboard Charts selling over 500,000 copies as soon as it was released.
There’s no denying his enormous talent and commercial viability. Featured below is a live performance of Chris Daughtry with his band featuring their first single entitled, “It’s Not Over”, taped during their guesting at “Sessions @ AOL”. Enjoy!
Chris was my bet, too, along with Elliott Yamin. I thought the competition was only between these two.
He has got SUPERSTAR written all over him (and he looks like me, too, thank you. EHEM), while Elliott, had the best vocals in season 5. 🙂
JUN:
Yeah… I was really surprised when he was booted out. You probably saw the look on his face when he realized he was leaving… it left him dumbfounded as well…
I’ve been following this seasons’ show quite closely and it’s probably too early to tell who will make it… although the final 24 has been selected already.
We’ll probably find out by next Wednesday and Thursday more or less who among these 24 hopefuls are potential stars. 🙂
