i just noticed the news about this the other day, but i never dig much on it… heard intel is also working with microsoft on it ata. well, i’ll share updates pag meron. gamer ka din di ba? Santa Rosa Core 2 Duo was already launched last Jun 6 at the Manila Pen. encourage you to try it also…(magpromote ba hehe)
its has more speed than the current Core duo processors…or baka ur using AMD pala hehe.
Also, we’re gonna look forward to the quad core generation of microprocessors (by late 2007 or early 2008)

i just wish microsoft will at least try to perfect their product first before launching another “breakthrough”… a breakthrough which will prove to be too buggy to use, and by the time things get patched up, Mac has a waaaay cooler version of it. hehehe!

Hi Cryst… I use intel. Planning to upgrade soon… I just don’t want the hassle of reinstalling my OS (and all my existing software) when I change my processor and motherboard… basically the very reason why I’m stalling the upgrade.

True true. That has always been Microsoft’s problem… let’s cross our fingers on that.
yeah, its a breakthrough bug as always…though i haven’t tried the Mac yet…:)

The mac is great! It’s just that all the upgrades are so damn expensive when it comes to the mac… (sigh!)
Oh well… Either I wait for the quad core or go for what’s already available on the market… depends on how much the quad core is projected to cost once it comes out.
…I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be quite expensive.
