I was doing the final mix of a new radio commercial jingle/composition this afternoon when I got a call on my cell from Viva Records head honcho, Vincent del Rosario.
He informed me that they were preparing Sarah Geronimo’s next album in which the feel of the new album and her image will be totally different than what it used to be on her previous records.
Vincent asked if I wanted to give Sarah one or more compositions that would fit her and the album’s new approach. Luckily, I still have some really good songs here that I haven’t decided to release yet. So, yeah… I guess I’ll be giving some of these songs to her.
I am hopeful, that these compositions will be just as successful as the one I gave Rachelle Ann Go entitled, “Bakit”.
We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess. Right now I’m busy preparing the demo files of the songs which I told Vincent I’d be bringing to Viva for Sarah. He sounded pretty excited and in a hurry to listen to them…
Will update you guys about developments probably by tomorrow evening after my meeting with the Viva bosses.
We’ll be looking-forward on that, Sir!

Yeah… will keep everyone informed… just finished printing out the lyrics and burning the songs to CD.

challenging task you got there. go ang make a song for sarah na hindi ko iisiping sya ang kumanta. its in your hands now to change her style as a grown up singer. sana not too pop pero pang-masa pa rin ang dating. try experimenting other genre for her din. suggestion lang naman heheh

im actually a sarah fan, i like her because she has this powerful voice and multi-talent. i like several songs from her previous recordings, however, there were some cuts in her past albums that sounds novelty. i commend becoming since she explores a different genre there, though not completely. I hope we could here something interestingly different from this new album in the making. i guess she could sing R&B very well

Hehe… lahat tayo excited. Although, I’ve yet to fix the songs since… demong-demo pa kasi ang dating. Same with Rachelle’s “Bakit”. When I brought that song to Viva, guitat and voice lang yung demo. Hehehe…
